How is BP earning $1,560,000,000 Profit? USA and other Countries contracts, $10 million worth of US tax credits, etc. How come those US employee's earning $8 an hour have to pay $2 an hour in Federal, State and Local taxes. This is approximately or 25% or their gross pay for US citizen payroll taxed paid. When you deduct with property, sales, fuel and many more taxes, fees and government agencies the average worker is luck to keep about 50% of what they earn. What percentage of earnings is paid by BP and large companies to the US Government in taxes? I believe there is corporate give aways from the US Government as well has big companies may hire the best tax attorneys to avoid or minimize any taxes they may have to pay.
