I try to wait till i have a list and only go to the big box store once a week. I stop at the local grocery store a few times a week but I drive past it on my way to work.

it only makes sense to reduce consumption of gas... it keeps the costs down, it is better for the environment ie. less toxic emissions, though i still and will push for e-vehicles it is the way of the future.

I have reduced or limited/combined my trips for the past few years; I try to shop during off-hours. I'll continue to do so.

Don't drive with such a heavy foot any more...Slow the pace and try to squeeze all the milage I can out of each tank of gas. Lord knows, I'm stuck with the vehicle I'm in for awhile and though it's been a great runner, it's far from being any small economical gas miser...BUT NO PAYMENTS...either..lol

Yes I continue to try to conserve. 65 on highways, combine trips to save
gas. I agree it is working. Plus I bought some Ecno and it is giving me
better mileage too. If we cut loose then supply and demand will catch up
with us again.

We need to continue to conserve or prices will rise upon demand.

I am old enough where I remember $.299 gas (yes, 29.9 cents) for a gallon of gas and during "gas wars" the price would fall as low as $.259 per gallon. So even at $2.00 a gallon, the price still seems high to me. $4.00 a gallon was outrageous. I have been driving high mileage cars and conserving for a long time. Nothing new here for me.

it would be very nice if the price of other things that is controled by the price of gas would go down at the same rate!!!

If gas prices stay low or go lower in a couple months 80% of the people will be back to their old ways. People have short memories.

Most definitely! I am continuing to cut down on unnecessary trips whenever possible b/c I know that if we keep taking the availability of gas for granted, it may not be available to us. We have had a rude awakening over this past summer, higher than expected gas prices derailed vacation plans for some, and caused public transportation rates to increase due to the high cost of fuel, which also caused food prices to soar! The truck drivers have to eat the cost too and with gas down, the diesel fuel is now up. I say we must continue to cut back, gas up then down, we never know when it all will turn around, we are so dependent on foreign oil, we need to drill, and get it from our own soil :)

yes i am still combining trips as much as possible as I know that the prices will eventually go back up. I will then be prepared and won't have to cut back as much.

Yes, saving money by conserving gas will remain a SOP for the foreseeable future. Still, falling gas prices could mean some money for a beer bonanza.
