One car varies between 10 and 18 miles, the other is between 16 - 20 miles... Haven't run out on the 2nd car, so I'm happy about that... Even with the 1st car, running out was RARE!

Even if it did, I would not trust it entirely because it might be very inaccurate like the fuel guage already is. Instead, I keep track of miles traveled between fuelings on the trip odometer. At least I know about how far I can drive on a full tank.
