After 70 years of growth, U.S. gasoline demand began a long-term decline. By 2030, Americans will use about 80% of current consumption. Experts say U.S. gasoline demand has peaked in 2006 and will not return to that level. While America's decreasing demand will temper global demand, it will be more than offset by rapidly growing demand in China, India, the Middle East, and Africa. As a result, declining U.S. gasoline demand will not bring lower pump prices because world demand will rise. http://www.automotive-fleet.com/Channel/Fuel-Management/News/Story/2010/12/Drop-in-U-S-Gasoline-Demand-Won-t-Bring-Lower-Pump-Prices.aspx

Generally I have liked your comments, but your response to the 'Climate Compromise ..' article I find kind of single minded and generalized. There are many good businesses in this country, that work hard to bring consumers goods they need and want. And they give employment to hundreds of thousands of individuals. Some in the past have been a problem. But many problems have been caused by individuals and a lot of problems have been caused by Politicians. Out country would not be where we are good without many of the businesses.

Great statement! I loved it!

"Wasting energy is just stupid. Taking pride in wasting energy is beyond stupid. The more energy you waste today, the bigger the consequences tomorrow."

Just looking for friends. As we travel we like to get info from online locals as they know the area and special places or good restaurants.
